ENGAGE VR
The most advanced virtual training and education platform, Engage VR is a complete e-learning and presentation platform, created for use in both Virtual Reality and traditional screens. Engage VR enables companies and organisations to effectively host meetings, conduct courses and learning classes, implement training sessions and give presentations in virtual reality.
Bringing people together globally into one place, in a safe, multi-user VR environment, I was able to witness the application first hand recently at an event at JISC London with VR Education, showcasing the recent BBC Berlin Blitz VR Experience from David Whelan.
Engage can be used to educate and provide training and meeting environments in virtual reality as well as even being a marketplace. Clients have included the BBC and to sign up, users create a free account, download the application and can begin creating their own training content, host their own classes and deliver presentations. 36 people can be active in one session and there are over 30 example lectures and experiences with over 1000 3d objects and effects and 25 virtual environments all ready for use.
Users are able to create, edit and upload their own virtual reality content on the platform using Engage’s own immersive FX system, an online library of objects and effects for VR. Live sessions can also be recorded, reviewed and shared onto their platform for others to watch across the world, so even if audiences cannot attend, they can revisit the event at a later time and date. The system also uses an advanced steaming solution to enable users to share filed from their PC online efficiently. Try the product free or through their demo and witness the potential of Engage to engage students, staff and society in sharing knowledge through expert extended reality education applications.
